What we collect and why
We don’t run forms, accounts, newsletters, comments or analytics scripts, and we don’t set cookies.
When you open a page, our hosting provider automatically records a standard server log: your IP address, browser type (user agent), the page requested, the referring page and the time. These logs are used for two purposes only — keeping the site secure (for example, blocking abusive traffic) and fixing errors.
We also use Google Search Console, which shows us aggregated search data — which queries led to the site and how often pages appeared in results. It does not identify individual visitors to us.
Who receives it
- Our hosting provider stores the server logs as part of delivering the pages.
- Google processes search data for Search Console under its own privacy policy.
We don’t sell, rent or share personal information with anyone else.
Links to casinos
Some buttons send you to a casino through an address that starts with /go/. We don’t pass your personal information to the casino. What the casino collects after you arrive is covered by its own privacy policy. See our affiliate disclosure.
How long we keep it
Server logs are kept by the host for a limited period and then deleted in the normal course of operations. Search Console data is kept by Google in aggregated form.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and challenge how we handle it. Write to hello@chickenroadcanadareview.com; we answer within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Québec residents: we use no technology that identifies, locates or profiles you, and no tracking or advertising cookies.

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date.
